It is designed to support educational movement, the development of cooperation between institutions\/entities\/organisations and the enhancement of education policies in the countries of the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>The Erasmus+ programme is structured around three Key Actions, covering all areas of Education, Training and Youth, which are:<\/p>\n<p>Key Action 1\/KA1: Learning movement of individuals<\/p>\n<p>Key Action 2\/KA2: Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practice<\/p>\n<p>Key Action 3\/KA3: Support for Policy Reforms.<\/p>\n<p><b>Kotronis Schools<\/b>, with an eye on Europe and multiculturalism, place great emphasis on undertaking such projects. Our aim is to educate citizens of the world, capable of responding to the needs of globalisation, having direct contact and experience from other European schools and putting their own knowledge into class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A new Erasmus+ programme has been added to the list of European programmes successfully implemented by schools since 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The new European ERASMUS + KA229 programme is entitled \u201cPartons \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine de nos voisins europ\u00e9ens\u201d which means \u201cLet\u2019s discover the heritage of our European neighbours\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Six schools are taking part: two from France, one from Spain (Canary Islands), one from Italy, one from Germany and the Kotronis Schools primary school.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPartons \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine de nos voisins europ\u00e9ens\u201d project is part of a drive to discover and share Europe\u2019s cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Over the two (2) years of the project, the partners will implement a wide range of activities enabling students to discover the cultural and artistic heritage of the partner the Erasmus+ KA229 project along with 4 other European schools from France (2 schools), Scotland and Romania. The schools will work together for the school years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 in the project entitled \u201cDes Ecoles Europ\u00e9ennes engag\u00e9es pour le d\u00e9veloppement durable\u201d \u2013 European schools for sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this two-year programme is to raise awareness and motivate students around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as outlined by the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p>Students will have the opportunity to meet children from other countries, to communicate their views and experiences in French and English, and to work with their teachers on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as defined by the United Nations General Assembly in September 2015. In the framework of this project, our senior high school collaborates with \u201cIES Miguel de Unamuno BHI\u201d located in Bilbao, Spain, as well as with the \u201cSpanish Society of Classical Studies\u201d, the \u201cAssociation for the Promotion of the Greek Language Periplo\u201d and the \u201cNational Museum of Reproductions\u201d of Bilbao, which participate in the project as external partners.
