Our Year 1 students have really been enjoying their English classes, especially now that they were asked to bring in some of their own toys for “Show and Tell”! Based on the last two texts they’ve been reading in their Non-Fiction Anthology, “I Like to Play” and “I Like to Collect”, they brought cards, cars 🚗 , stuffed animals 🧸, squishy toys, rocks and other things they like to play with or they have collections of at home. After describing their precious items in English, they showed them to their friends and teachers with care and pride. ✨. Each toy reminded us how special it is to explore, play, and connect through the things we love! ❤️
