Over the past few weeks, our students feom Year 3 to Year 6 have been taking a closer look at plants — and what an amazing journey it’s been! 🌿✨
From the roots to the petals, we explored what plants need to survive: water 💧, light ☀️, and minerals 🪨, and how each one helps a plant grow. Students investigated the different parts of a flower 🌸, traced the pathway water takes through the stem to the leaves, and discovered how this incredible system keeps a plant alive. 🌱
We also learned about the life cycle of a plant, including how pollen is transferred and how fertilisation occurs. 🐝🌼
It has truly been a fantastic hands-on learning experience.
