International English-speaking program for modern student education
English language courses in cooperation with Pearson
iProgress is the UK Curriculum for International students.
Courses are taught in English, at the level that the grade in which the students are placed allows.
The programme is aimed at students aged 6 to 16 years old. (iPrimary: ages 6-11, iLowerSecondary: ages 11-14 & International GCSE: ages 14-16).
The courses offered prepare and familiarise students with the above curriculum, which will help them to secure IGCSE qualifications and enhance their candidature for admission to English-speaking universities.
The courses commence in grades 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5 & 6 (iPrimary) and 7, 8 & 9 (iLowerSecondary), 10 & 11 (International GCSE).
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (International GCSE) is the equivalent of the Junior High School final exams.
All grades will be provided with the Global Citizenship course.
Through this course students will consolidate the concept of the global citizen, their rights and opportunities.
At the same time, they will become familiar with concepts and issues that will be useful to them as global citizens.
The other modules concern:
- Computer Science (Computing & ICT)
- Science
- English International (Specialized English)
All three courses will help students to master concepts and definitions that will be useful to them, whatever direction they choose.
In the coming years, we also intend to launch the International A Level, through which students will ensure their admission to top English-speaking universities (ages 16-18).
The International Advanced Level (IAL) is equivalent to the Panhellenic exams and is held simultaneously in 75 countries.
Students who follow the IALevel programme will have the opportunity to be accepted by internationally renowned universities such as: The University of Oxford, The University of Cambridge, The London School of Economics, Oueen Mary College, Birmingham University, University of Bath, King’s College, Bristol University, Yale University, New York University, University of California, Berkeley (USA) Universität Bern, Universität Freiburg, Université de Genève Université de Lausanne (Switzerland), Delft University of Technology, Erasmus University Rotterdam , HZ University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) Cologne Business School, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany). The tuition fees for the international programme are €250 per subject/module annually.
The examination fees for IGCSEs and A Levels are approximately €75 and €120 per examined subject respectively.
Our school is an official PEARSON examination centre, and all examinations are conducted on our premises.
IGCSEs (International General Certificate of Secondary Education): a widely recognised international qualification for students aged 14–16, serving as a gateway to higher education and professional studies. IGCSEs hold significant value as an international academic qualification, recognised and respected by English-speaking universities across Europe and the United States.
Preparation begins in the 3rd year of Junior High School.
A Levels (Advanced Level qualifications): these are the continuation of the IGCSE programme and provide access to European and American universities (equivalent in level to the Greek Panhellenic examinations).
Three A Levels are required, and preparation begins in the 2nd year of Senior High School.
