Kotronis Schools, based in Nafpaktos, Western Greece, is the only official Pearson/Edexcel examination centre offering a full international British curriculum near Patras — and the only school in Western Greece where students can both prepare for and sit their IGCSE and A-Level (IAL) examinations without travelling to Athens.

In partnership with Pearson, we offer the iProgress UK Curriculum for International students — taught entirely in English, adapted to each student’s level.
The programme is available for students aged 6 to 18:
- iPrimary (ages 6–11) — Grades 1 to 6
- iLower Secondary (ages 11–14) — Grades 7 & 8
- International GCSE / IGCSE (ages 14–16) — Grades 9 & 10
- A-Levels / IAL — International Advanced Level (ages 16–18) — Grades 11 & 12
All students also receive the Global Citizenship module, building awareness of global issues, rights and responsibilities.

— IGCSE & A-Level Examinations —
Kotronis Schools is an official Pearson/Edexcel examination centre — the only IGCSE and A-Level examination centre in Western Greece. Students prepare and sit their official examinations on-site at our school in Nafpaktos, with no need to travel to Athens or abroad.
The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is a globally recognised qualification for students aged 14–16, widely accepted by European and American universities. Preparation begins in Grade 9.
The IAL (International Advanced Level) — equivalent to A-Levels — is the gateway to leading English-speaking universities worldwide. Three A-Levels are required. Preparation begins in Grade 11.
Students who complete the IGCSE & IAL pathway gain entry to internationally renowned universities including:
