Middle School is one of the most important transitional periods in a child’s life, both academically and personally. At this stage, students deepen their knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, learn to take responsibility, and begin to shape their personality and values in a more meaningful way. Choosing the right school is therefore crucial, as it influences not only a child’s academic journey, but also their self-confidence, emotional balance, and preparation for High School and adult life. At Kotronis Schools Middle School, we place particular emphasis on cultivating respect, responsibility, and values that help adolescents grow within a safe and supportive environment. Through modern educational approaches, meaningful communication with students, and close cooperation with families, we support every child during this particularly important stage of character and personality development.

The Middle School curriculum follows and enriches the official curriculum of the Greek Ministry of Education, offering students a more comprehensive and modern educational experience. In addition to the core subjects, special emphasis is placed on English language instruction, aiming not only at fluency but also at the acquisition of internationally recognized certifications. At the same time, students have the opportunity to learn a second foreign language, strengthening their international outlook and communication skills. The program is further enriched through activities such as robotics, visual arts, sports, and student clubs, all of which contribute to the development of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and self-confidence. What truly differentiates our school is not only the enriched curriculum, but mainly our philosophy: creating a safe, organized, and supportive environment that cultivates respect, strengthens the student–teacher relationship, and prepares adolescents for the increased demands of High School and modern society.

At Kotronis Schools Middle School, we believe that education goes beyond academic knowledge and aims at the holistic development of each student’s personality. Through modern educational approaches such as project-based learning, students learn how to research, analyze information, collaborate, and confidently present their ideas. In addition, educational trips, theatrical performances, presentations, and participation in competitions provide valuable experiences that strengthen imagination, expression, and creative thinking. Student clubs also play an important role, giving each student the opportunity to discover and develop their personal interests and talents in an environment that encourages initiative, cooperation, and respect. Our goal is for students not only to acquire knowledge, but also to develop the skills and values that will help them become responsible, creative, and active citizens.

Each student’s progress is monitored systematically and consistently by the school’s teachers, with the aim of providing meaningful support for both academic achievement and overall personal development. Parents are regularly informed through scheduled meetings with teachers, during which each child’s progress, challenges, strengths, and goals are discussed. In addition, through the school’s digital platform, parents have direct access to important information regarding their child’s academic progress and performance. The cooperation between school and family is a fundamental part of our educational philosophy. For this reason, communication between parents, teachers, and the school’s educational partners is organized through the School Secretariat, ensuring immediate support, proper coordination, and effective communication for every student.

Students who have attended a school abroad may enroll at Kotronis Schools at any time during the academic year, following communication with the School Administration and Secretariat. To complete the enrollment process, parents are required to provide an officially translated certificate of attendance from the previous school, a birth certificate or official birth registration document, as well as proof of permanent residence. Placement in the appropriate grade is determined following an evaluation by the School Administration, ensuring the student’s smooth academic and social adjustment to the new environment. With significant experience in supporting students coming from different educational systems and international environments, our school ensures that every child feels safe, accepted, and supported from their very first day.
