GRADUATE IN CLASSICAL LITERATURE WITH POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN THEATRE AND SPECIALIZATION IN THE RECRUITMENT OF ANCIENT DRAMA - CONSULTANT IN EDUCATIONAL ISSUES FOR TEACHERS

Dimitrios Siooutis holds a degree in Classical Literature with postgraduate studies in Theatre and specialization in the Recruitment of Ancient Drama. At the same time, he has received systematic training from universities and public educational institutions in scientific fields such as: Leadership & Management of Education, Intercultural Education, Utilization of Innovative Digital Tools in Education, Cultural Development Counseling, Training of Executives & Trainers of Special Social Groups, Educational Techniques & Learning Theories in Adult Education, Training of Adult Educators, etc.

Since 1996 he has served as a teacher in private and public secondary education structures, while he has been the Director of the Panos Secondary School before its renaming to “Modern Kotronis Schools”. As a certified Continuing Professional Development and Adult Educator Trainer, he has taught in numerous educational programs in the thematic areas of Greek Language to non-Greek speaking populations and special social groups, Culture and Art, Educational Planning and Administration, etc. As a certified Adult Educator Trainer, he has trained in numerous training programs for certified adult educators on topics such as: Developing Active Instructional Techniques in Adult Education, Learning Theories, Assessment Methods, Presentation and Evaluation of Exemplary Instruction. As a lecturer – professor at the Drama School of the Patras Drama Theatre, he teaches Dramatology and Dramatic Analysis.

At the same time, having served as Head of Education of the Adult Education Centres of the Institute for Continuous Adult Education (IDEKE) of the Ministry of Education of Achaia, Director of Training in the field of Education and Integrated European Programmes of the Educational Organisation “Mentor Educational” and scientific associate of KEDMOP – Grace Life of the University of Patras, he has developed many years of administrative and educational experience in the design – coordination – evaluation of numerous innovative European educational programmes in Greece and abroad, in drafting scientific proposals and studies and in communication – cooperation with many social and educational organisations in the framework of transnational cooperation and projects.
