The students of our 6th Grade enjoyed a unique one-day educational trip to Athens, where they had the opportunity to learn about important institutions of our country and engage with its rich history and culture.
The day began with a pleasant walk through the National Garden, one of Athens’ most important green spaces. There, the children enjoyed the natural beauty of the surroundings and learned about the area’s flora and fauna.
Next, they visited the Hellenic Parliament, where they were introduced to the functions of Parliament and its role in the democratic life of the country. They also had the opportunity to visit the Parliamentary Chamber and attend a particularly informative presentation about the work and procedures of the legislative body.
This was followed by a guided tour of the “Eleftherios Venizelos” Exhibition Hall, where students explored significant aspects of modern Greek history and gained valuable historical insights
