“Excellence is the motivation that motivates us to strive to be better, to set goals, to create, to innovate, to be useful to society, to take responsibility for the change that starts with us first. The aim of school should be to cultivate attitudes, behaviours and morals in the student, so that he or she understands and realizes that “goods are hard won” and that personal, professional and social recognition and distinction require continuous, persistent and painstaking effort”, Mr. Stathatos then invited the successful students of the competitive test for scholarships to attend the high school of the Kotronis Schools.

He made a special reference to the institutions that support this year’s scholarship programme of the Schools, namely the National Bank of Greece, the Marianna Vardinoyannis Foundation, Vinci Concessions and the Konstantinos and Panagiota Kotronis Family. As a whole, these entities responded immediately to the invitation of the President of the Modern Kotronis Schools, George Kotronis, understanding the level of the educational process that takes place, as well as the broader culture of the Schools.
Representing Vinci Concessions Greece, the Director of Corporate Communications and Sustainable Development, Yannis Freris, commented that “the quality of your educational work, especially under the new management, is what gave us the right to take the initiative of this scholarship”.

The representatives of the other institutions also greeted the school’s scholarship holders.
The award was presented at the closing ceremony of the Primary School of the Schools.”
