Just before the first school bell and the return of our students to the classroom, our school made a meaningful investment in the professional development and empowerment of our teaching staff. With the goal of fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment for everyone, specialized in-school training seminars were held for both Primary and Secondary Education.
😊 Student Mental Health & Stress Management
Our school psychologist and external associate, Ms. Christiana Germanou, delivered a highly valuable session on children’s and adolescents’ emotional resilience and stress management. Through the analysis of real-life case studies, our teachers shared their concerns and gained practical tools for the early identification and effective support of our students’ emotional needs.
⛔️ Preventing & Managing School Bullying
Addressing an issue that is more relevant than ever, Mr. Iosif Fragkoulis, Professor of Teaching Methodology at ASPAITE and Academic Advisor at the Hellenic Open University, led an important discussion on school bullying. We focused on contemporary forms of bullying, prevention strategies, and appropriate intervention approaches within the school community, always guided by the principles of respect and inclusion.
📌 Contemporary Pedagogical Practices in Primary Education
For our Primary Education teachers, Mr. Nikolaos Manesis, a member of the Educational Laboratory Staff (E.DI.P.) at the Department of Education and Social Work at the University of Patras, provided targeted training on contemporary teaching methods, classroom organization, and the effective management of everyday educational practice, offering fresh perspectives and valuable ideas for the start of the new school year.
✨ Education is not simply about the transmission of knowledge; it is about nurturing the whole personality of every child.
We begin the new school year ready to stand by every student with care, knowledge, and empathy. 🙏
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and creative school year! 🔔🎒
